Leslie Mann is an American actress born on March 26, 1972 in San Francisco, California. She studied at the Corona del Mar High School, and began acting professionally at the age of 17. She first appeared in shows such as “Virgin High” in 1991 and “Bottle Rocket.”
Soon after, Leslie Mann bagged a role in the medical drama series “Birdland,” and from there she was able to score a role on the box office comedy hit, “The Cable Guy,” opposite Jim Carrey and Matthew Broderick. She later appeared in films such as “She's the One” opposite Edward Burns and Cameron Diaz, “Last Man Standing” alongside Bruce Willis, and the indie film “Cosas que nunca te dije.”
In 1997, Leslie Mann starred in the movie “George of the Jungle,” which turned to be a financial success. She later took a break from show business and returned to take part in another box office success, “Big Daddy,” opposite Adam Sandler. In 2000, she showed off her drama skills by starring in the film “Timecode.”

In 2005, she starred in the comedy flick, “The 40-year Old Virgin,” alongside Steve Carell. It was Jude Apatow's directorial debut, which became a critical and commercial success. She followed this up in another Apatow comedy, “Knocked Up.” The film starred actors Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, as well as previous co-star Adam Sandler.
In 2008, Leslie Mann worked with actor Owen Wilson in the film “Drillbit Taylor.” She also had roles in 2009 films beginning with “I Love You Philip Morris” opposite “The Cable Guy” star Jim Carrey, “17 Again,” “Funny People” and “Shorts.”
Leslie Mann is married to writer-director Jude Apatow since 1997. The couple has two daughters, Maude and Iris.
